We’re always keen to hear what our customers have to say about how Dugard machines work for them in production, often we can take these suggestions and build them into our ranges.
That’s exactly what we’ve done with the new Dugard XP vertical machining centres which have evolved directly from our popular Dugard E range. Take a look at the interview Eric did with MTDCNC.com when they came to our 2015 open house.
Our customers told us they loved working with the E range but they’d really appreciate a bit of extra performance. And so the XPs were born – with heavier ways, faster rapids, more spindle power, through spindle coolant, 36 station toolchanger, and, all that comes as standard. The XP range has the same comprehensive choice of bed sizes as the original E Range, from 760mm right up to 2060mm, and even though they’ve got all the enhanced features, they’re still more or less the same price. So, amazingly, you can get a Dugard 2000XP with Fanuc 0iMF or Seimens 828D control for under £100,000. The good news doesn’t stop there – Dugard E range vertical machining centres have actually been reduced in price. The range has be reduced as well, now we only offer the 760E, 1000E and 1350E, but bigger models need some extra power anyway and the new XP range fits that remit perfectly.
Of course the XP range comes with all the usual Dugard benefits, when you buy a machine from us, you buy it ready to run – we can deliver it, install it, commission it, do the whole package, and of course give you a full warranty.
