Meet Steve Bower, our new man in the Midlands

Steve Bower has been appointed as the new Area Sales Manager for the Midlands area to further enhance our market penetration in the region.

Enjoying remarkable growth withour diverse brand portfolio and the strengthening of the team, we expect the appointment of Steve to further underpin brand awareness and growth in the Midlands. Steve brings vast experience to the company, having entered the industry almost 25 years ago as an apprentice mechanical engineer. Since 2000, Steve has completed his apprenticeship with a prominent machine tool builder, worked as a machinist and also spent the last 12 years as an Area Sales Manager for several world-renowned machine tool manufacturers with a proven track record of success.

Following 12 years as a successful Area Sales Manager in the Midlands, Steve has applied his experience in technical sales to identify and deliver cycle time reductions and process improvements for manufacturers throughout the region. Steve has enjoyed significant success serving manufacturers across the region with distinction and is relishing his new challenge with Dugard.

Commenting on joining the company, Steve says: “Dugard has a fantastic range of prestigious machine tool brands that stretch from the Hanwha sliding head series and Kitamura high-speed precision machining centres through to the SMEC, Ibarmia, Mylas and Chevalier brands of robust high-quality machines. These machines are some of the best in the industry with many being class-leading brands – I am relishing the opportunity to present the process improvements and benefits that the Dugard range can offer manufacturers in the Midlands. I have only just joined the company and the breadth of the Dugard portfolio is already enabling me to present technology to my long-established network where previous employers didn’t have the product diversity to fully support customers. This has already yielded several opportunities. The Dugard team presents a unique portfolio that is underpinned by a supportive team that is all driving toward the attainment of customer success.”
