It’s a big new role for Keith – one he’s actually been in since February but MACH was the first chance we’ve been able to sit down with him and find out how he’s getting on.
Previously a field service engineer, the NEC was the first time Keith’s worked outside of our warehouse in Hove since his role changed. He’s now very much Hove based, with a hands-on new role supervising machine pre delivery inspections, quality control as well as supervising the PDI team in the warehouse.
It could be a tricky role as Keith needs to liaise between the warehouse team, the service department and our other internal engineers to improve quality and cost effectiveness. So far it’s all looking good – Keith’s got a lot of experience in the industry, learning the business from the ground up with 14 years (man and boy!) at Ford Precision and Equipment before he started at Dugard 6 years ago. This extensive experience has stood him in good stead – he knows what he needs to do to deliver, and he has complete support from the whole team to do it.
We’re always looking for opportunities to perfect the service we’re able to give our customers. Keith’s made a brilliant start in his new role and we’re confident that quality and efficiency at Dugard will continue to improve.
