CNC Field Service Engineer – South East / Home Counties

We are looking for a multi skilled field service engineer to join our team. The successful candidate should have, a full UK driving licence, be able to travel, with overnight stays as required, and have experience in a similar job role.

Key duties and responsibilities

Mechanical fitting, electrical understanding, ability to read mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics.
Installation, fault finding and servicing of CNC controlled machine tools throughout the UK, Occasional overseas travel may be required.
Experience with some or all, Siemens, Fanuc, Mitsubishi, Heidenhain control systems would be an advantage.
Comply with all company Health and Safety Regulations.
To carry out work using best practices to ensure effectiveness and efficiency of the job.
To liaise with customers in a courteous and professional manner.
To fill out reports and liaise with the service office.
Support the company in securing future business opportunities, Leads on future machine purchases, servicing, and parts.

Required skills

Valid UK Driving Licence.
Experience of working in a similar role with CNC machine tools.
Fault finding and diagnosis of CNC machine tools.
Machine tool alignment/geometry
Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic understanding.
